 An all inclusive Cozumel Honeymoon is not just for divers anymore. Cozumel is a scuba diver's paradise, but you'll also find great all inclusive resorts, great snorkeling, and the charming town of San Miguel.
 Cozumel is Mexico's largest island and is known as "the Land of the Swallows". Right off shore is the second largest reef in the world, so you are just minutes away from spectacular diving and snorkeling. The island is still relatively small, just 29 miles long and 12 miles wide. The island is due east of Playa del Carmen. Ferry's operate frequently during the day, take between 25 and 40 minutes, expect to pay around $16 round trip.
Cozumel resort rates are a very attractive value if you're looking for fun and sun. The Mayans first settled on Cozumel in the 1st millennium A.D. They considered the island sacred, and dedicated it to Chel, the Mayan Moon Goddess. Many temples were built there and were places of pilgrimage, especially by women seeking fertility. So if you are on your honeymoon and aren't ready to start a family, be very careful.

 Our 2 highest recommendations have always been either the Cozumel Palace if you want to be close to town with a great room, or the Occidental Grand Cozumel if you want the best beach.
The Wyndham resort is also a good choice now. The have an adults-only section at the main resort, "Sabor". And they've also opened a small boutique property next door that is completely adults only, the brand new Aura Cozumel.
