Most Resorts in Aruba are not all inclusive. Most of the resorts have an all-inclusive option. We recommend you stick with one of the resorts that are all-inclusive, all the time, for everyone. With these resorts you don't have to worry about confusion and varying service levels. That narrows down your Aruba honeymoon options to the Occidental Grand Aruba, Riu Palace Aruba, Divi Aruba, and Tamarijn Aruba. We will gladly put you in one of the optional all-inclusives. The Marriott, Renaissance, and Westin are all great properties. Just make sure you realize what is included and what's not and you'll have a perfect time.
The Riu Palace Aruba is now our #1 recommendation for your Aruba Honeymoon. If you are looking for a great room, the Riu Palace Aruba's suites and jacuzzi suites are your best option. We encourage you not to book the least expensive category at the Riu Palace Aruba. These rooms are part of the original resort building.
Many people prefer the Divi Tamarijn and the Divi Aruba, because they are located in the Eagle Beach area or what is often referred to as the low-rise section. Although these resorts are more basic than the options in Palm Beach, they are true beachfront on an amazing beach. These resorts are also great for you if you prefer to be away from crowded areas.
The Renaissance Aruba Resort offers a very unique all inclusive Aruba Honeymoon option. The resort is located in downtown Oranjestad. The marina section is adults only and has a motor launch in the lobby that takes guests to their own private island. You are also downtown in the heart of shopping, dining, bars and casinos. If you can't decide between a European city honeymoon or a Caribbean honeymoon, chose this resort and get both.

Aruba's topography and vegetation are unusual for a Caribbean island. Divi-divi trees, easily recognized by their distinctive wind-sculpted shape, dot a landscape defined by miles of pristine white beaches and a rugged northeast coast.
Aruba has had its own currency since 1986, the Aruban florin. U.S. dollars are widely accepted in Aruba.
ATM machines are available throughout the island. Travelers checks and major credit cards are widely accepted. Personal checks are not accepted. Travelers who have ATM cards with Cirrus, MasterCard, Maestro or Visa logo can withdraw cash at more than fifty locations at hotels, malls, gas stations and hotels as well as at local banks.
Your cell phone will work in Aruba but be aware that there will be roaming charges. Please contact your local service provider before traveling to Aruba. Aruba is equipped with WIFI technology and has hot spots throughout the island.
Aruba means “red gold” (“ore” for gold + “ruba” for red).
Casinos are a big draw to Aruba. A few casinos are open 24 hours a day. In general, opening hours are 11 a.m. for slots and 1 p.m. through early morning for table games. Hours vary seasonally. No one under 18 is allowed in the casinos.
The island is approximately 70 square miles, 6 miles wide by 19.6 miles long.
The official time is Atlantic Standard time, one hour ahead of E.S.T., and equal to E.S.T. during daylight savings time period. When the USA springs forward the time is the same as east coast time. When we fall back Aruba is one hour ahead of New York time.
