The Punta Cana resorts are relatively new and modern. This destination is booming and new resorts have been in some phase of construction for the last 10 years. If you like shiny and new, this is your island destination.
Punta Cana Adults Only Luxury
#1 Our favorite and the most luxurious is the Iberostar Grand Bavaro. All the rooms are suites and come with butler service. This is a very complete resort with a golf course, casino and 3 sister resorts next door that you can enjoy. The beach is fantastic at all the resorts we will mention including this one.
#2 Secrets Royal Beach is fantastic also. Almost every suite has an outdoor jacuzzi. You’ll get famous Secrets Unlimited Luxury all inclusive plan here, so you’ll never have to wear a wristband or make reservations for dinner. You also have full exchange privileges at the larger Now Larimar next door that even has a bowling alley (extra $$ may apply).
#3 Excellence Punta Cana has always been a popular choice and the rates are amazing for the luxury you receive. The rooftop terrace suites with outdoor jacuzzi are always in high demand. This resort is located north of Bavaro beach.
Punta Cana Adults Only Affordable
#4 Riu Palace Macao is located in the Riu complex, which is very close to the Iberostar complex. This adults only Riu Resort is a tremendous value. All the resorts in Punta Cana price well and this resort usually has some of the lowest prices. Riu’s 24/7 all inclusive program means that if you’re hungry or thirsty or sober, you are to blame, no one else:)
#5 Punta Cana Princess is almost always the most affordable adults only all inclusive in the Caribbean. As an all inclusive honeymoon specialist agency, we try to avoid the word cheap. Cheap does happen to perfectly describe this resort. You’ll have decent service and decent meals at a very low price.
