This resort may not be as affordable as the next few on the list, but this is a luxury adults only property. I love that the resort has an authentic Mexican feel. The resort is smaller than most in the Riviera Maya, so all the restaurants, your room, the beach, the bars and the pool are a short walk away. Even though the resort is smaller, you still have 7 restaurants, 4 bars and 24 hour room service. I also love the big circular pool in the middle of the resort. They have a great a great oceanfront wedding gazebo too. I highly recommend this resort for eloping. They have 2 great honeymoon packages also.

The Riu Republica resort in Punta Cana is brand new and a very affordable all inclusive honeymoon option. You also have access to the Riu Resorts’ Caribbean Street where you’ll find shops, disco, spa, casino and more. You can also enjoy the new Riu water park. This resort is large with 1007 rooms, 4 restaurants and 5 bars. And of course, you get Riu Resorts’ 24/7 all inclusive program. The entertainment here is really good and the buffets are Vegas like.

You can see that an affordable all inclusive honeymoon in the Bahamas cost more than our top value destinations of Cancun, Punta Cana and Jamaica. You can get cheap flights to Nassau though, so that helps. This resort is a great value with Riu’s 24/7 all inclusive program and the resort turned adults only when it re-opened in November of 2017 after a complete renovation. You can also walk across the parking lot to Atlantis, THE theme park of the Caribbean. This resort has a great 3 mile beach too.
