I am often asked, “what is the difference between and Iberostar Resort and an Iberostar Grand Resort?”. The resorts are owned and managed by the same company. Every Iberostar Grand Resort has an Iberostar Resort next door. Not every Iberostar Resort has an Iberostar Grand next door or even in the vicinity.
Unfortunately, we can only offer 3 Iberostar Grand Resorts. Iberostar Grand Paraiso is right next to Iberostar Paraiso Maya in the Riviera Maya. Iberostar Grand Rose Hall is next door to Iberostar Rose Hall Suites in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Iberostar Grand Bavaro is next door to Iberostar Bavaro Suites in Punta Cana.
The main difference is the age restriction. Iberostar Grand Resorts are adults only all inclusives. No children are allowed. This makes the resorts perfect for a romantic and stress free all inclusive honeymoon. You won’t have to worry about teenagers splashing pool water in your drink at the swim up pool bar. Your candlelit steak and lobster dinner will not have a screaming baby at the next table.
Another big difference is the luxury level. The Iberostar Grands are the most luxurious. All rooms are junior suites and larger. Butler service is included for all guests. All suites have WiFi. The restaurants are fabulous and the service everywhere is what you would expect from a luxury resort. On TripAdvisor, put in the hotel destinations of Montego Bay, Punta Cana and the Riviera Maya. The Iberostar Grands will come up as the first or second all inclusive resort on the list if you sort by ranking (high to low).
When it comes to all inclusive weddings, the Iberostar Grands have the same wedding packages as the other Iberostar Resorts. Remember, Iberostar Resorts limit weddings to one per day. You will never have to share your wedding day with another bride. Iberostar Caribbean wedding packages start at $999. You can always build your destination wedding package a la carte if you prefer.
We highly recommend the grand collection for Jamaica honeymoons, Punta Cana honeymoons and Riviera Maya honeymoons.
