We had looked at Sunset but originally wrote it off- until our travel advisor discovered it became adults only and we booked it. I’m sure we all noticed the palm trees on the left when leaving Negril, but in addition, there are tropical plants and everything is well maintained. It’s advertised as 85 rooms but it’s actually 85 A-frame cabins on stilts, each with its own deck. The dinners are white linen, but the nature of the place is so informal that you’re not out of place if you don’t wear the right shirt. They have only recently completed the beach bar and grill- and crossing the road for the beach was no big deal! We will definitely go back!

A minimum purchase of seven nights is required, in an Ocean front room category at Sunset Jamaica Grande, Ocho Rios or Sunset Beach Resort, Montego Bay or a suite stay at Sunset at the Palms, Negril or if there is a group of more than 15 rooms to qualify for the complimentary “We Do” package.
The government and licensing fee of $199 is not included.
