The couple and 80% of their guests must stay at the same Riu Hotel where the wedding will be performed. Only 20% of the total group can stay at another hotel.
For weddings in Riu Jalisco, guests staying at Riu Vallarta and Riu Palace Pacifico will be able to attend the wedding ceremony without extra charge. Guests staying in a different Hotel (not Riu) will have to purchase a day pass of (approximately) $85.00* USD per person as long as they do it in advance and through the onsite wedding coordinator. Day passes requested on the same day of the wedding have a cost of $100.00* USD per person however they are not guaranteed, they are subject to availability. *Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Couples have to arrive at least two (2) full business days for symbolic ceremony or Renewal of vows and three (3) full business days for a civil ceremony, prior the wedding date. Please note that arrival day, Weekends or National Holidays do not count as business days. Weddings and events are not performed on Sundays & National holidays.
Confirmed weddings cancelled within a month of the ceremony date or upon arrival to the hotel will be charged a cancellation fee of $250.00 USD*.
Once that the wedding coordinator is in contact with the Bride in order to finalize all Wedding arrangements, changes of the Wedding package won’t be accepted.
