My husband and I worked with Diane to find our perfect honeymoon destination. We looked all over the Caribbean (both in and out of the hurricane belt) and ultimately decided on St Lucia. We had some concerns regarding hurricane season, but Diane made sure we had the best travel insurance, should we need to postpone our honeymoon. Thankfully we did not need it – The weather was BEAUTIFUL the entire time! Diane sent us tons of resort options within St Lucia. Our ideal honeymoon consisted of both relaxation and adventure because we love the outdoors. We went back and forth between smaller boutique resorts and big fancy resorts, like Sandals. I probably drove her a little crazy going back and forth for weeks (or months?… who knows), but Diane was so patient and communicative with me! She had so much information on each resort – I mean ALL of the information, which really helped me narrow down my choices. We finally landed on splitting our vacation between Anse Chastanet and Jade Mountain (sister resorts). Diane was on top of all the details from the moment we made our decision. She made sure we got to the airport early enough, our flights were on time, and even got us a fast pass through customs once we landed in St Lucia. This was a lifesaver – we got through customs in about 10 minutes while there were lines wrapped around the building. She also helped me surprise my husband with a helicopter ride to our resort (A MUST!). We took advantage of the Yin and Yang promotion while we were there. This included a handful of excursions (sail boat ride, massages, snorkeling, jungle biking, tours, etc) and perks during our stay. We received five star service from the moment we arrived at the resort. The whole team is incredibly responsive and courteous while handling our requests to book excursions and dinner reservations. We scheduled most of our excursions while we were staying at Anse Chastnet and then spent our free time at Anse Mamin beach (the most beautiful beach!). About 4 days into our trip we transferred over to Jade Mountain. The resort staff did the heavy lifting for us (literally). All we had to do was hop in a car and they drove us right up to the resort for check in. Jade Mountain was absolutely breathtaking – There are no other words to describe it. I know the pictures are beautiful, but you really won’t understand until you see it in person! We spent a lot of the time within our Jade Mountain Sanctuary. I was a little concerned with only having 3 walls, but we slept really well each night. There are lots of fans and the canopy beds to keep the bugs out (I definitely recommend packing bug spray though!) The views, the pool and mini bar make it easy to never leave your room during the day. However, we did enjoy going up to the Jade Mountain Club for meals. Their restaurant has breathtaking views (just like the sanctuaries) and beyond five star service during breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was to die for! Every dish was so unique and delicious. Fresh fruits, veggies, baked goods and meats grilled to perfection. We spent our entire last day swimming in our private pool, taking in the views and eating as much delicious food as we possibly could. When it was time to leave we took a car ride back to the airport (about an hour drive) and headed home. It was such a romantic and memorable trip for us and we have Diane to thank for planning out all the details so we did not have to lift a finger. I am already itching to plan a trip back to St Lucia to experience it all over again.

My husband and I were not sure about the destination for our honeymoon. We thought that  our biggest dream (Hawaii) was completely out of reach. That’s until I talked to Catherina from Honeymoons,Inc. She offered us a great deal with the perfect destinations according to what we were looking for. She was so helpful, answering all of our questions and giving us suggestions on what to do as well. I highly recommend them. 
About Hawaii, I felt in love with those islands and can’t wait to go back. There are so many things to do in Hawaii. We did hikes, couple’s massage on our resort spa, footgolf (so fun), Luau,  and beaches of course. We did most activities in Maui, since it’s bigger than Kauai, the second island we went. Hawaii is a paradise. Everyone should experience this at least once in their lives 🙂
