2. George F. L. Charles Airport (SLU) – Located in the north, near Castries. Mostly used for inter-island flights within the Caribbean. You’ll only land hear if you fly from another island nearby or if you take the helicopter from UVF to go to the northside of the island.

Steve’s Take: My take is different from most. I’ve been to St Lucia many times. I also never visit St Lucia without taking a catamaran to the Pitons. I’ve done the helicopter and the ferry boat and loved both experiences. Having said all that, I always take now the complimentary shuttle if I’m staying at Sandals and do a private car if I’m staying at another resort.
