Legal or Symbolic All-Inclusive Elopement Package

Ok, let’s start with a very boring tedious topic, like whether you want the ceremony to be legal. Almost every elopement we arrange in Jamaica is legal and almost every elopement we arrange in Cancun is symbolic.

You can have a legal wedding in any destination, but on the non-English speaking islands and the Mexican Caribbean, you’ll have to jump through more hoops. Examples are getting an apostille stamp on your documents, getting your documents translated and taking blood tests in the destination. In Aruba, we have to actually physically take the couple to the court house downtown to do all the paperwork and bring them back to the resort to get married.

In the non-English speaking destinations, we recommend you do a courthouse wedding at home, then do a symbolic wedding when you travel.

Length of Stay for your All Inclusive Elopement Package

For shorter stays, we recommend you try to minimize your travel time. Try to find better flight times and shorter times between the airport and the resort, so you can get maximum vacation time.

For stays of 3 to 5 nights, we recommend the Bahamas, Cancun, Jamaica, Punta Cana and the Riviera Maya.

In the Bahamas, no resorts are far from the airport.

In Jamaica, we highly recommend Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals Royal Caribbean, Secrets St James and Secrets Wild Orchid, which are all close to the airport.

The Cap Cana area is very close to the Punta Cana airport, so we highly recommend the Hyatt Cap Cana and Secrets Cap Cana.

In Cancun, you’ll get to the strip faster, but Playa/Costa Mujeres is just 30 minutes more.

In the Riviera Maya, just be mindful that’s 81 miles of coastline. The Riviera Cancun, Puerto Morelos and Maroma areas are close to the airport.

If you have 6 nights, that opens up the southern Caribbean destinations like Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Grenada and St Lucia. You also don’t have to be as concerned with how close the airport is to the resort.
